Factoids of football from Grade 6 students

Aaron Rodgers is the Quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. He is well known for his touchdown celebration. He puts on an imaginary belt on his waste, copying a famous championship wrestler, Triple H. Fans imitate this movement too. Rodgers is the only player in NFL history to throw for over 4,000 yards in each of the first two seasons as a starting QB.He is also the only player in NFL history to throw 45+ touchdowns, and 6 or less interceptions in a single season. He was the Super Bowl champion in 2011 and the Superbowl MVP. He also went to multiple colleges.

Larry Fitzgerald is a wide receiver. He played for the University of Pittsburgh. He also earned All-American honors. Larry was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in 2004. His shirt number is number 11. THe only NFL team he has played for is the Cardinals. He has been selected six times for the pro bowl.

Peyton Manning is the quarterback for the Denver Broncos of the NFL. He was playing for the Indianapolis Colts from 1998-2011. In May, 2011 he got neck surgery because of neck pains and arm weaknesses. He played college football at the University of Tennessee. He was chosen by the Indianapolis Colts with the first overall pick in the 1998 NFL Draft.

Tom Brady is on the New England Patriots Team. He is a quarterback and is number 12. He started his career in 1998 and is still playing now. Tom Brady was picked as a backup quarterback by the New England Patriots in 2000. After Drew Bledsoe, the starting quarterback, was hurt, Tom Brady took over. In the 14 games that Tom Brady started, the team got 11 wins to 3 losses.
