I purchased this eBook awhile ago, but I never got around to reading it, because my iPhone kept telling me the file was corrupted. Then, once I downloaded the newest iOS on my iPhone, the phone part crashed and stopped working, but then my broken applications were functioning again.. WEIRD!
(Now that my iPhone has gone to technology heaven, I bought the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which I LOVE.. but that's for another blog post!).
Despite the controversy surrounding this book, I initially bought it for the plane ride to Shanghai, because I thought it would be helpful to connect and better understand my students' backgrounds and home life. Well long story short, I'm sorry it took me so long to read this book!! I have been teaching children of tiger parents for the past two years, and I didn't even realize what the students have been dealing with, all this time!
